Author’s notes: This was the first of two print pieces in a campaign directed at the top 1000 U.S. insurance companies. The campaign was tightly integrated with special insurance pages on the Web site. While those pages received many hits, the preferred response mechanism was – who would have guessed – the postage-paid postcard.

The results generated a five percent response rate – and 60 days after launch was forecast to generate more than a $2 million in year 2000 revenue.

The 5¾ x 11" four-color piece featured a clever integration of the Page One and Page Two headlines.
